Psychiatry in transition : towards, new models, goals & challenges

We invite you to help shape the future of psychiatry by submitting your proposals for symposia, workshops and courses to be included in the EPA 2019 (6-9 April 2019) scientific programme.

We look forward to receiving your proposal to be included in this ground breaking congress in Warsaw, Poland in 2019.

Proposal Submission Deadline: 15 May 2018

  • A brief description of the session (max. 250 words) for evaluation purposes only.  (This is not considered as an abstract)

  • 1 chair, 1 co-chair and 4 speakers per session. (The chair and co-chair may be chosen from the speakers.)

  • No more than 2 speakers of the same nationality.

  • Prior to submission, the chair and proposer should ask for the preliminary availability of every speaker in their session

  • Symposium sessions are 90 minutes in length.

  • Prior to submission, the chair and proposer should ask for the preliminary availability of every speaker in their session

  • Only the proposer will receive notification of the final SPC decision, and he/she is responsible for communicating the result to all other chairs and speakers.

The focus of the workshop is on discussion.

  • A brief description of the session (max. 250 words) for evaluation purposes only. (This is not considered as an abstract)

  • 1 chair, 1 co-chair and 4-6 speakers per session. (The chair and co-chair may be chosen from the speakers.)

  • Each presentation should be no longer than 10 minutes.

  • At least 30 minutes of discussion at the end of the workshop.

  • No more than half of the speakers of the same nationality.

  • Prior to submission, the chair and proposer should ask for the preliminary availability of every speaker in their session.

  • Workshop sessions are 90 minutes in length.

  • Only the proposer will receive notification of the final SPC decision, and he/she is responsible for communicating the result to all other chairs and speakers.

  • A brief description of the session (max. 250 words) for evaluation purposes only. (This is not considered as an abstract)

  • Each course must have one director. One co-director is authorised. If additional co-directors are proposed, please justify their presence in the course description.

  • The proposer should receive the acceptance of the course director and any co-directors prior to submission.

  • Courses are 180 minutes in length and are presented in 2 consecutive 90 minute sessions.

  • Only the proposer will receive notification of the final SPC decision, and he/she is responsible for communicating the result to the Directors and Co-Directors (if different).
